This week we had a very exciting day, when Queen Nefertiti visited West Park for the day. She chose 2 children to help her and they were crowned as Queen and Pharaoh for the day.
The children explored the world of Ancient Egyptians through dance, drama and challenges. The children finished the day with a 'Big Quiz' to see how much they had remembered. The children were able to share their previous and newly acquired knowledge about Ancient Egypt to ask and answer questions and support their drama and dancing sessions. The children demonstrated resilience and collaborative learning skills and behaviour throughout the day. It was a very interactive and exciting day for everyone involved.
