Y1 have been learning all about Antarctica this term. We looked at the story 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers. We first made story maps to help us plan our recounts which we then polished and are now on display around our classroom. Some children were curious cats and completed research at home to see what other books Oliver Jeffers has written. In DT we designed and made moving pictures with a sliding mechanism. In geography we have been learning all about Antarctica and have been looking at the books 'Where is home little Pip?' and 'Don't be afraid little Pip'.
