The children in year 2 are really enjoying reading Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt. We have completed a number of comprehension tasks based on the text focussing on retrieval, vocabulary, sequencing and inference. The children are beginning to become more independent in reading the questions and answering them in their books. You can listen to the story by clicking the link below.
