In Music, the Year 2 children have been enjoying learning and performing a song called Hands, Feet and Heart by Joanna Mangona - A song that celebrates South African music. We really enjoy our warm-up games which help us to develop some of our musical skills. For example, finding the pulse, using our imagination and listening to the rhythm and clapping back. Once we learnt the song, we then thought about actions to go with the words to enhance our performance. We also learnt a series of notes on the glockenspiel which we practiced alongside our partners who then gave us feedback to help us improve. It was a lot of hard work, but we really enjoyed it and we hope you do too. Please take a look at some of our super stars!
