On Tuesday 2nd November we had a special visitor in for the whole day called Mrs Kinghorn. She came with trolley of fully charged ipads, ready to provide a fun filled day.
In the morning the children enjoyed using apps to create art by using the paint, spray, fill, erase and undo tools. The children all had to create a self-portrait using the tools which they then saved and uploaded to a library that they could then all view and celebrate each other's work. The children were encouraged to say or type in what tools they had used to create their picture.
In the afternoon they then did some digital photography with objects in the classroom. They were then taught how to edit their photo's to improve their work.
Mrs Kinghorn chose two children that she felt worked hard throughout the day. These children were Sulayman and Virgina. Well done to them and all the class for working so hard.
