Autumn 2 - Science

Year 2 really enjoyed their science experiment. We were trying to find out how polar bears survive the cold weather. We tested this out by using ice water and put our hands into two different gloves. One glove was empty and the other contained butter. We found out that the hand in the blubber glove felt warmer than the hand in the empty glove. Polar bears need lots of fat and blubber to keep them warm.
