The year 2 children went on a walk in the local park and were very excited. In class we had been learning about animals and their habitats. It was a dry but very cold afternoon but we managed to see lots of animals in the park and discussed the habitats. Back at school we spoke about what would happen if the park was replaced with buildings. This would be terrible for all the plants and wildlife, some animals would need to move away but lots would die!
We hope to revisit the park in the spring to see if their are any new animals and plants to see. Please visit the park, it is a lovely walk out with the family and there are lots of lovely animals and plants to see. Send in some pictures of your visits to the park through seesaw!
