Baking Bread

In D&T, the children have been learning about bread. First we looked at the history of the Warburtons brand and how they have become one of the most successful bread brands in the UK. Next, we learnt about different types of bread and tasted some yummy seeded bread, fruit loaf and toastie bread. The children enjoyed this very much and wrote about their appearance, taste, texture and smell. Next, we watched a Paul Hollywood video on how to knead dough and create different shaped bread. The children practiced making their shapes using dough. Finally, the children designed their own bread and then baked it!
