Can you draw in the style of a stone age man?

Year 3 have been practicing doing just that. The children have used brown parcel paper to represent the cave walls, and have created a cave picture of a buffalo. The children used charcoal to sketch the outline of the buffalo, and then used brown pastels to represent the natural colours that the stone age people would have used at the time. Finally more charcoal and then chalk was added to create tone and highlighting to the images. Have a look at some of our drawings.
