Eco Day in Year 4

Today we had our schools second annual ECO-DAY, We started the day looking at the question ' Why are Bees important?' - we discussed how they add to bio-diversity and how they impact us. We then took part in an orienteering activity finding out about trees that grow in Britain. Finally we had two art activities looking at Bees - we used 'tissue art' to create an artist impression of a Bee before looking at how we can use more a more scientific approach to draw detailed drawings of the Bee
