Giant Flowers

Year 3 have been learning about the artist Georgia O'Keeffe this half term. Georgia became famous for her work in which she would magnify flowers. We have done lots of work in Art based around Georgia's style. To begin with we took magnified flower photographs. We then used our photographs to create a magnified flower painting. We have explored painting over black and white flowers using water colour techniques. We have created giant flower sculptures using card and paper and finally we have created our own 3D plant sculptures using wire. Have a look at our photos to see some of our hard work.
