Handa's Basket

"Handa put seven delicious fruits into a basket for her friend Akeyo. 'I wonder which fruit she will like the best,' she thought."

Year 1 have worked hard to make their own baskets and fruit for Handa. We used the thumb pot method to create baskets out of clay. Then we used different modelling plasticine to create the different fruits for Handa to put into the basket. We thought carefully about the colours and the shapes that we would need for each fruit.
