Over the last several weeks, both Year 6 and Year 5 have been practicing, officiating and competing in various athletics events such as hurdle race, speed bounce and standing long jump for their PE lessons. The 5 best boys and 5 best girls were then chosen to represent our school in the annual Indoor Athletics event which was held at Highfields school. The event consisted of many of the same activities and overall our school finished a close second, just missing out on the top spot. Every child from both classes displayed great Determination, Discipline and Diligence and should take great heart in how well they did.
