Year 1 have linked Maths and PE together in our learning today. We have been exploring multiplication and counting in 5s this week. Today we were given some beanbags and a hoop. Each beanbag represented 5 points. We took it in turns to throw the beanbags towards the hoop and counted how many we had managed to get into the hoop. Then we wrote multiplication equations to show how many points we had scored. We did some great throwing and some amazing Maths, well done year 1!
