Autumn 1
Our science topic this term is called Living Things and their Habitats. We will be identifying and exploring things that are living, non-living and never been alive. We will also be going on a visit to our local park to look for animals and plants and discussing their habitats. Please take a look at the year 2 knowledge organiser to view the new vocabulary your child will be expected to know and use. In the meantime you could look in your garden at what plants and animals live their or take a look in a local park. Later on after half term we will be making mini habitats and exploring food chains.
