Y6 enjoyed our performance poetry week. We began our poetry week by reading a selection of poems together.
Children spent time exploring a wide range of different types of poems, from humorous and funny to poems with real life issues and serious themes and messages. Then we focused on three poems to perform together: The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, New beginnings by Tony Walsh and Boys in the Wood by Karl Nova. Well done Y6 :)
