Year 1 have had a great week celebrating Poetry Week. We began the week by scanning QR codes and listening to a range of poems. We identified what we liked and disliked about the poems. We then had a poet focus of James Carter. We listened to several poems by James Carter and then learnt his poem Bubbles. You can listen to it here: Bubbles - The Children’s Poetry Archive. Finally we learnt the poem 'Who Lives Here' by poet Moira Andrew.
