Silhouette Puppets

Reception looked at a stamp and talked about the Queen's face that we can see on it. We said that long ago we created a silhouette of someone's face by blocking the light and drawing around the shadow. This inspired us to make some silhouette puppets. The children chose to either make their own silhouette puppets using stencils or to cut out and use one of the characters from the Jolly Postman story. We then used an over head projector and had a lovely time retelling stories and creating our own stories using our characters.
