Stone Age Jewellery

Did you know that the people of the Stone Age wore jewellery? Even the men! The jewellery was made from bones, teeth, stones and shells. We have had a go at making replica stone age necklaces. We made our own salt dough and shaped them into different shaped beads before letting them air dry. We then painted them with natural colours before threading them onto string. We are now ready to use our necklaces and jewellery to trade, just as the stone age people would have done.
