What an incredibly active week at West Park! To celebrate National School Sports Week, pupils and staff attempted the 'Daily Mile' challenge (KS1 - half a mile) in an attempt to get fitter and enjoy some strenuous physical exercise. In addition to this, competitive athletic sessions were held for KS1 and KS2 after the mile where the children revelled in the competitive spirit showing good sportsmanship and plenty of determination. A lot of fun was had by all!
When children weren't competing, lessons had a sporting theme linked in with the Wolverhampton Community Games and our partner country - Fiji. These lessons also promoted healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle.
