When in History did the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age take place?

Year 3 have been working to find out today. We learnt some vocabulary linked to Stone Age-Iron Age and then identified what these periods of History are and when they took place within History. As part of our learning we went outside and have created our own practical timelines using toilet roll. Each square of toilet roll represented 1,000 years. We used border roll to create duration bars to show how long each period of the Stone Age took place, as well as showing the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. We had lots of fun outside, despite the wind wanting to steal the toilet paper away!
