In Year 2, we read the book 'The Snail and the Whale' by Julia Donaldson. We had lots of fun measuring the average length of a humpback whale, it was 16m long, 14 children long and we could all fit inside it's tummy! We also had a go at writing 6 word stories about reading, have a read of some of them!
