Year 1 have had a great day linking all of our learning to books. In Maths we read the book 'the shape spotter'. We decided that we were going to be shape spotters too but Mrs Harper challenged us to be 3D shape spotters rather than just 2D shape spotters. We took pictures of different things that we could find as different 3D shapes. Have a look at home, what can you find that is a sphere, a cone, a cylinder, a cube or a cuboid?
In the afternoon we focused on line and shape to create our own portraits of Zog.
