Thank you to all the parents, carers and grandparents that came to the workshop today. We looked at what they children are expected to be able to do by the end of year 2 in maths. We spoke about why it is important for the children to arrive on time so that they complete their daily arithmetic first thing in the morning and we looked at ict games to help parents in supporting their children at home with addition, subtraction, doubling, halving and number bond facts. Also, we did a mini lesson with the children that was both practical and recorded in books. It was a busy morning but the feedback suggests that those that came enjoyed the workshop.
