This term Year 3 are exploring the theme of Ancient Egypt. The children have used this as their focus in history, art and PE.
The children have also create their own representations of Tutankhamun in art this week. The children followed a guide to create the outline. They then used soft pastels to add colour and detail to their final pieces.
Parents and families of the Year 3 children joined Mrs Housley in a reading workshop last week. This was an introduction to a reading lesson within school. The children worked collaboratively during this session and were able to demonstrate their skills in identifying vocabulary and decoding. It was great to see so many visitors to the lesson.
