Year 3 Snapshot of Learning

During the Autumn term Year 3 have unpicked the enquiry: What were some of the significant achievements for the Ancient Egyptians and what did it help them achieve? As part of this enquiry we have learnt about the Egyptian pyramids, the Egyptian understanding of medicine and religion through mummification, the importance of the river Nile to the Egyptians, writing and Egyptian art. We have thought about other civilisations who were alive at the same time as the Egyptians and compared their achievements. Have a look at some of the work we have done.
