Year 3 Writing

The children have had the book 'The Proudest Blue' as a BAME focus text for the last 2 weeks. They have read the story, deconstructed the text, identified features and then applied their knowledge of sentences to begin to write their own narratives based on the characters and the storyline. This week, the children have been planning their ideas on and 's' plan focusing on 3 story plot points, before writing these into their books. The children are encouraged to work collaboratively with a partner to read, edit and improve their writing in a positive and constructive way.
